Have you ever seen an odd looking cloud in the sky and wondered what it was? During a thunderstorm, have you witnessed a ball of lightning? Strange lights appear in the sky at times – what are they?
Weird but True Weather will cover unique types of weather and weather-related phenomena, including ball lightning, roll clouds, ice balls, waterspouts and much more. Learn what factors must exist for these weird occurrences and where they’re most likely to be seen. Free time on the exhibits and a snack included with the program, which will be held from 10 a.m. – noon on Saturday, March 28. Cost is $8.00 per person. Best for ages 5-14. Registration is helpful, but not necessary. Walk-ins welcome.
