Birthday parties can be scheduled on days the Weather Discovery Center is open. Parties will last two hours and cannot be scheduled before 11 a.m. and no later than 1 p.m. Sunday parties may only be scheduled from noon – 2 p.m. (Set up time 1/2 hour before
Parents or guardians are responsible for bringing food, drinks in spill-proof containers, plates, napkins, utensils and anything you need for your party. Please note: All drinks must be in spill-proof containers.
The Party Hosts are required to dispose of all garbage in provided trash cans or bags, wipe down tables, (and chairs, if necessary) and to run the sweeper over the carpet, if necessary.
Children will have use of all
A party of 10 or more children requires 2 adults in attendance for supervision; 11 or more children requires 4 adults in attendance for supervision.
The party hosts/adult(s) will be required to abide by guidelines for the supervision of children at the party. (Guidelines provided upon check-in the day of the party.)
The birthday boy or girl will receive a special “Weather on the Date of my Birth” certificate.
Cost is $9.00 per child. Children 2 and under are free. Up to 4 adults at no charge. Five or more adults—$4.00 each. Minimum charge—$50 per party.
Birthday parties are subject to availability of the date and must be scheduled at least one week in advance by calling 938-1000 or stopping in during regular business hours.
A deposit of $25 is required upon booking. The deposited amount will be applied to the cost. The deposited amount will be refunded only if the party is
