We are just 60 days away from the Great North American Eclipse on April 8! The path of totality for this total solar eclipse runs through Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Here in Pennsylvania, some portions of the very upper western part of the state may end up in the path of totality.
Safety is of utmost importance when attempting to view an eclipse. The Weather Discovery Center will be carrying eclipse glasses in our gift shop starting in March so that you can be prepared to safely witness this spectacular occurrence! North America will not experience totality again until 2033.
