Back again for the fourth year, our hugely popular Sloppy Science Day returns on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
It’s a day devoted to education, science, fun, and getting sloppy! Kids can throw themselves into the activities with no worries about making a mess or getting dirty–that’s what the day is all about.
Here’s what’s planned for Sloppy Science Day: You’ve never played the game Twister like this before — you will get sloppy ’cause it’s Twisted Twister! Like to play in the sand at the beach? You’ll make your own Kinetic Sand using special ingredients that make it easy to shape and mold. Chalk Bombs of Color made its debut at last year’s Sloppy Science Day and it’s back this year, but better! Toss our giant chalk bombs at our wall and watch the color fly! We’ve had the Sensory Dig at our event every year, but this year, just wait until you feel (gasp!) what’s in our pool full of chocolate pudding when you stick your hands into it!
Returning favorites this year are Fizzy Science — the Diet Coke and Mento geyser that erupts before your eyes; Extreme Bubbles — make the biggest bubbles ever; and Crazy Painting — how many weird ways can you put color on our sidewalk? You’ll find out!
In addition, we’ll have Sloppy Nachos, candy bars, and pop available for $1.00 each, because we’re sure you’ll work up an appetite getting sloppy!
There’s no need to pre-register for Sloppy Science Day – just walk in. For complete details, including the cost, view our flyer here. You can also call us with questions – 814-938-1000.
