For the first spring in two years, schools are once again bringing their students to the Weather Discovery Center for end-of-school-year field trips. During the months of April and May, you may want to check our calendar as you plan your visit to see if there is a school group scheduled on that day.
Because our facility is not large, when field trips are in progress, the groups generally fill our exhibit hall. This would make it difficult for other visitors to have the best experience. Generally, the schools arrive at 10 a.m. and are done by 1 p.m.
