As of this writing, the Weather Discovery Center Board of Directors is drafting policies and procedures for a reopening date of Thursday, June 18.
Tentative plans are for the Center to be open just three days per week to start: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Discussions are being held for when to reschedule Boy and Girl Scout programs that were cancelled and how to hold our annual Summer Weather Camp.
The safety of our visitors and staff comes first. That’s why we’re taking our time to get our disinfecting procedures and safety policies established. We want everyone to be confident that a visit to the Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center can be safe and fun!
