It’s that time of year when being outside isn’t always pleasant which means that the kids are indoors more often than not. If they need to burn off some energy, send them to the Weather Discovery Center for Make A Mess Day on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. until noon.

We’ll start getting dirty with “clean” mud, a concoction that uses soap as it’s base. The participants will mix up the mud, then get to play with it and in it!

Next, it’s sand slime. All kids love slime, so what could be better than slime at the beach? Better make sure you send the kiddos in old clothes!

Finally, we’ll wrap things up with Twisted Finger Painting! The “twisted” part is a surprise, and this might be the messiest of all three activities!

As we always do with our programs, free time on the exhibits and a snack is included. Pre-registration is not necessary, but is appreciated by Nov. 18. Walk-ins will be welcomed. 814-938-1000 or info@weatherdiscovery.org.
