Alas, with the Labor Day holiday, comes the unofficial end of summer. Kids go back to school, vacations are over for the most part, and the days are beginning to get noticeably shorter. Another change happens here at the Weather Discovery Center.
First of all, we are closed on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2. The holiday also signals that our fall hours begin, meaning we close on Wednesdays, in addition to Sundays. Our open days will continue to be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (last admission 3:30 p.m.)
