Last weekend’s BLINGO Designer Purse & Cash Bingo Event was a great success for all involved. Not only did the Weather Discovery Center raise needed funds to support our educational mission, but 177 people had great fun. And that includes our Big Purse winner, Chastity Welsh (shown above with Weather Discovery Center board chairman, Jim Cassidy), who took home $1000 in cash!
The Weather Discovery Center’s board of directors would like to thank all of our sponsors and all of those who volunteered their time and effort to make the event possible. Our thanks also to the Punxsutawney Eagles Club for hosting the event and for the terrific food. We are also grateful to all who attended the event.
No date has been chosen for next year’s event, but we’ll be sure to make an announcement when we do so you can Save the Date for BLINGO 2020!
