The Weather Discovery Center crowned the 2023 Little Mr. and Miss Groundhog on Saturday January 28. Punxsutawney Groundhog Club members Frostbite, Mr. Josh Farcus, Big Chill Jason Grusky, and Punxsutawney Phil’s handler, Rainmaker, Mr. A.J. Dereume were on hand for the ceremony.
The 2023 Little Mr. Groundhog is Jake Zimmerman, age 5. He is a student at Punxsutawney Area Elementary School. His parents are David and Megan Zimmerman. Congratulations Jake!
The 2023 Little Miss Groundhog is Madelynn Toven, age 6. She is a student at Punxsutawney Area Elementary School. Her parents are Derek and Justine Toven. Congratulations Madelynn!
The Punxsutawney Weather Discovery Center would like to thank the families and friends of our contestants who voted and contributed to our educational mission.
